McFarlane and Burns available for Leicester City’s trip to Luton
Christian McFarlane and Wes Burns are available for Leicester City's Luton trip on Saturday 24 October, while Jayden Joseph remains sidelined.
Leicester City have Christian McFarlane and Wes Burns available for the trip to Luton Town on Saturday 24 October, giving Russell Martin more options as his side seek a third successive league win.
McFarlane has missed three matches, while Burns has been unwell for a couple of days. Martin confirmed both could be involved at Kenilworth Road, according to Leicester Mercury.
Joseph remains out
Jayden Joseph is not expected to return until after the international break in November. Will Alves has covered at right wing-back and scored his second goal of the season against Bromley.
Jakub Stolarczyk and Ben Nelson are also unavailable after suffering anterior cruciate ligament injuries earlier in the season.
City beat Bromley 4-0 on Tuesday 20 October, following a narrow victory over Doncaster Rovers the previous weekend. The trip to Kenilworth Road will be Leicester’s first league fixture away to Luton since August 2006.
Eight missing for Luton
Jack Wilshere’s side have eight players ruled out. Defender Hakeem Odoffin is the latest addition to that list after suffering a muscle problem during Luton’s win over Barnsley on Tuesday 20 October.
Harrison Ashby and Manchester United loanee Dan Gore will also miss the match. Shaydon Morris, Benny Benagr, Jayden Luker, Sverre Sandal and Shandon Baptiste complete Luton’s absentee list.
Luton go into the League One meeting in 13th place, below Leicester, having won four of their first 10 league matches.
