Leicester bus photo challenge offers families chance to win a day out
Families can enter Leicester Buses’ photo challenge by Saturday 31 October 2026 for a chance to win a day out at one of two city attractions.
A family bus trip in Leicester during October half-term could win a day out at the National Space Centre or the King Richard III Visitor Centre. Leicester Buses’ Half-Term Explorer Challenge closes on Saturday 31 October 2026, according to Leicester City Council.
To enter, families need to travel by bus to an outing in Leicester, photograph their adventure and submit the picture through the competition page on the Leicester Buses website. Trips could include a museum visit, time in a park, lunch or exploring somewhere new.
The Family Flexi day ticket costs £6.40 for two adults and up to three children. It allows travel across participating operators within the Flexi zone without buying a separate ticket for each operator. Park & Ride services are excluded, and ticket terms and conditions apply.
The competition page also has suggestions for outings, alongside the full entry conditions and prize details.
The challenge is part of Leicester Buses’ One Network approach, which brings together the city council and bus operators to make bus travel simpler to understand and use.
